FERRIDAY – Services for Kevin Keys, 22, of Ferriday, who died Monday, May 19, 2008, at University Medical Center, in Jackson, from injuries sustained in an auto crash on Sunday, May 18, 2008, on the Mississippi River Bridge, will be at noon Sunday at Mercy Seat Baptist Church with Pastor Justin Conner officiating.
Burial will follow at Ferriday Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mr. Keys was born Sept. 24, 1985, in Natchez, the son of Sam Dale Keys and Mildred Mason Keys. He was a carpenter.
Mr. Keys was preceded in death by his grandmother, Lula Taylor; one sister, Fran Keys; and one nephew, DeVonte Keys.
Survivors include his father of Laurel; his mother of Ferriday; two brothers, Sam D. Keys Jr. of Marietta, Ga., and Marvin Keys of Laurel; six sisters, Trena Washington and husband, Wilbert, both of Shreveport, La., Amber Keys, Elaine Jolla, Arleane Scott and husband, Lavon, all of Ferriday, Sandra Keys of Florida and Iesha Keys of Laurel; and a number of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
