Edith Harrigill Fletcher

HATTIESBURG — Services for Edith Harrigill Fletcher, 94, of Hattiesburg, who died Wednesday, June 26, 2013, at Wesley Medical Center, will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Moore Funeral Home in Hattiesburg.
Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery under the direction of Moore Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Fletcher taught for 38 years in the Sumrall and Hattiesburg school districts. She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary and the Retired Teachers Association.
Mrs. Fletcher was preceded in death by her husband, William Wesley Fletcher Jr.
Survivors include one daughter, Nancy Fletcher-Beaver and husband, John, of Oak Grove; one son, Bill Fletcher of Hattiesburg; one brother, Fulton Harrigill and wife, Emily, of Seattle; one sister-in-law, Virginia Batum of Florida; three grandchildren, Wes Fletcher and wife, Karen, Kimberly Smith and husband, Aaron, and David Fletcher and wife, Brandi; and five great-grandchildren, Saylor Fletcher, Beck Fletcher, Kylee Fletcher, Kylee Fletcher, Hunter Fletcher and Tyler Smith.
The family extends special thanks to Mrs. Fletcher’s caregiver, Cleo Ezell.
