Iris Ashcraft

MCCOMB – Private services will be held for Iris E. Ashcraft, of Natchez, who died Wednesday, May 28, 2008, at her son’s residence in McComb.
Mrs. Ashcraft was born Aug. 24, 1936, in Durma, the daughter of John Henry Wyles and Lora Estelle Turner Wyles. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of God.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Orville Ashcraft; one brother, John Daniel Wyles; and one sister, Peggy Joyce Wyles Summers.
Survivors include one son, Billy Morgan and wife, Angie, both of McComb; two sisters, Juanita Matthews of McComb and Merle Reid of Jayess; four grandchildren, Kevin Paul Morgan and Jan Bigner, both of McComb, Katrina Lynn Morgan, of Magnolia, and Sonny Bigner of New Orleans; three great-grandchildren, Alannah May of Raymond, Devon Hilburn of McComb, and Sonny Kane Bigner of New Orleans; and a number of nieces and nephews.
The family requests in lieu of flowers, memorials be sent to Community Hospices of America, 140 North 5th Street, McComb, MS 39648.
Hartman-Sharkey Funeral Home, in McComb, is in charge of arrangements.
