Robert and Linda Shirley of Vidalia, below in 1963 and above now, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary from 4 to 7 p.m., Saturday, June 29, 2013, with a reception at the Vidalia Convention Center on the riverfront. The couple has two children, Whest Shirley and wife, Dara, and Tatia Shirley Webber, all of Vidalia. They have six grandchildren. They were married June 29, 1963, at Briel Avenue Baptist Church in Natchez. Family and friends are invited. No gifts, please.
