NATCHEZ — Services for Carnell Tucker, 48, of Natchez, who died Friday, June 14, 2013, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Peter Baptist Church with the Rev. Wilsonni Johnson officiating.

Burial will follow at Jerusalem Baptist Church No. 2 Cemetery in Kingston under the direction of Bateaste Memorial Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Mr. Tucker was born April 16, 1965, in Natchez, the son of Dorothy Tucker and Allen Purnell. He attended North Natchez High School and worked as a mechanic. Mr. Tucker was Baptist.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include six brothers, Lee Andrew and wife, Eloise, Robert, Leo and wife, Mary, Ricky and wife, Melissa, Terry and Llewellyn Tucker; four sisters, Barbara Tucker, Ruth Alloway and husband, Roderick, Terrilus “Sandra” Purnell and Shamecca Causey and husband, Jason Sr.; and a number of nieces, nephews and other loved ones.

Pallbearers will be Robert Franklin, Tony Coleman, Leroy Bradford, Ronald Gibson, Michael Owens and Travis Owens.
