NATCHEZ — Memorial services for Terry Lee Holmes, 37, of Roxie, who died Sunday, June 16, 2013, at his residence, will be at 6 p.m. Friday at Cranfield Baptist Church with the Rev. Curt Wilson officiating.

Mr. Holmes was born Sept. 9, 1975, in Natchez, the son of Ralph Holmes and Valerie Dianna Johnston.

He passed away peacefully, having lived a good life by doing what he wanted, when he wanted to do it. He was a loving and wonderful father, son and brother and will be deeply missed by everyone that knew him.

Mr. Holmes was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Leslie Eugene and Dorothy Elizabeth Holmes; and his maternal grandparents, Roberta Marie Dunson, Curt Holmes, Pamela Perkins and Bobby Case.

Survivors include his wife, Jennifer Holmes; one daughter, Emily Dawn Holmes; his parents; one brother, Wiley Eugene Dunson and wife, Robin, one sister, Angel Rourks and husband, Judson; grandfather, Dave Dunson; one nephew, Michael Rourks and wife, Tabby; four nieces, Heather Rourks, Carley, Destiny and Tristan Dunson-Davis; three great-nieces, Nevaeh Anderson, Chasity Rourks and Ma’Kinley Rogers; three great-nephews, Kaiden and Daythan Rourks and Brantlie Anderson; a special friend, Mark Halford; a special nephew, Chris Surrena and wife, Robin, and their children, Brooklyn and C.J.; and a number of other relatives and friends he loved dearly.
