Lionel Tucker

NATCHEZ – Private memorial services were held for Lionel Tucker, 51, of Natchez, who died Monday, June 9, 2008, at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Jackson.
Mr. Tucker was the son of Marshall Tucker Jr. and Ester Mae Gooden Tucker. He was a carpenter.
Mr. Tucker served in the U.S. Marines and studied with Jehovah’s Witnesses.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Willie Tucker.
Survivors include four sisters, Lucille McCullough of Chicago, Ethel Pepper and husband, Joel, JoAnn Tucker and Brenda Stokes and husband, Alphonse Sr., all of Natchez; and one brother, Robert Tucker and wife, Lolita, of Suisun City, Calif.; three nieces, Pamela, Tiffany and Trinita; five nephews, Richard, Alphonse Jr., Joel, Tremaine and Tralane; one great-niece, Nia Tucker; and other relatives and friends.
