HAUGHTON — Funeral services for George B. Arnold,55, who died Saturday, June 21, 2008, at Willis-Knighton Hospital, in Bossier City, will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 23, 2008 at the Hill Crest Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Lowell Kenyan, pastor of River Valley Church, officiating.
Burial will follow in Hill Crest Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. today at the Hill Crest Funeral Home.
As owner of Arnold O & P, George served 1,000’s of patients as a Certified prosthetist and orthotist. He was a celebrated and loved member of River Valley Church, and a resident of Bossier City for twelve years. George loved life, his wife and his kids with all his heart. He was preceded in death by his brother, Larry Arnold.
Survivors include his precious wife, Penny McDowell Arnold; an amazing son, George Logan Arnold ; two beautiful daughters, Lauren Marie Arnold and Mallory Shaye McDowell; all of Bossier City; his parents, John W. and Dorothy Ree Arnold; one brother, Hugh Arnold, of Vidallia; his parents-in-law, Charles and Dixie McDowell; brother-in-law, Lance McDowell; special brother-in-law, Coach Chad McDowell, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Nash Nunnery, Steve Puckett, Larry Cox, Doug Delap, Richard Straughan, Albert Stoma, and Mike Staples.
