NATCHEZ — Funeral services for Eddie Jackson Curtis, 63, of Natchez, who died Friday, June 7, 2013, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be 11 a.m. Monday at New Hope Missionary Baptist church “The Vision Center.”
Burial will follow at Jerusalem Baptist Church No. 2 Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. Monday until time of services at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church.
Mr. Curtis was born March 11, 1950, the son of Eddie Jackson and Lenora Curtis. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Dorothy J. Wade and Juanita Jackson, and four brothers, Keith A. Jackson, Matthew Jackson, Roger Woodfork and Joseph Woodfork.
Survivors include his wife, Delores Jackson of Houston; one daughter, Eunice Nelson of Natchez; four sons, Eddie Ray Jackson of Natchez, Robert Dixon and wife, Lyvonne, of Bryum, Keshon Brown of Atlanta and Edwin Jackson of Houston; three sisters, Dawn Fleming and husband, Barney, Rita Jackson and Lori Ann White, all of Natchez; six brothers, Harold Curtis and wife, Irene, of Houston, Morris Jackson of Baton Rouge, Rickey Jackson and Michael Jackson of Houston, Charles Jackson and wife, Constance, of Norfolk, Va., and Henry “Billy” Jones and wife, Helen, of St. Louis; one aunt, Beatrice Stevenson of St. Louis; 22 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
