NATCHEZ — Services for Gladys Thomas, 104, of Natchez, who died Tuesday, June 11, 2013, at Adams County Nursing Center, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at St. Mary Baptist Church with the Rev. Joseph Gibson officiating.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Bateaste Memorial Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from noon until service time Saturday at the church.

Mrs. Thomas was the daughter of Martin and Maggie Henderson.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Sidney Proby; her second husband, Will Thomas; and four stepchildren.

Survivors include a daughter she raised as her own, Nora Lewis Dejoie of Baton Rouge; three stepchildren, Catherine Minor of Natchez, Dorothy Clay and Tommy Thomas, both of LaPlace, La.; a number of step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.
