FERRIDAY – Services for Emma Price Anderson, 74, of Ferriday, who died Friday, June 27, 2008, at Riverland Medical Center, in Ferriday, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Mount Beulah Baptist Church with the Rev. Eugene Williams officiating.
Burial will follow at Ferriday Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mrs. Anderson was born May 6, 1935, in Ferriday, the daughter of Judge and Leona Smith Price. She was a homemaker and a member of Mount Beulah Baptist Church where she served on the Mother’s Board.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, L.A. Anderson.
Survivors include three sons, Charles Jordan and wife, Telistha, both of Ferriday, Alfred Price and wife, Lee Jessie, both of Natchez, and Jimmie Price of Reno, Nev.; four daughters, Patricia Humphrey and husband, James, Glenda Jones and husband, John, all of Ferriday, Marilyn Price and husband, George, both of Minneapolis, Minn., and Kathy Anderson of Natchitoches, La.; one sister, Ruby Reed of Chicago; 13 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

Rosie Lee Roach
March 31, 1919 – June 26, 2008
NATCHEZ – Services for Rosie Lee Roach, 89, of Ferriday, who died Thursday, June 26, 2008, at Riverland Medical Center, in Ferriday, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Greater New Bethel Baptist Church with the Rev. Larry Wright officiating.
Burial will follow at Sinai Cemetery, in Natchez, under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mrs. Roach was born March 31, 1919 in Natchez.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Clarence Martin Sr. and Curtis Jackson; and one sister, Thelma Jackson.
Survivors include a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
