ROXIE — Funeral services for Robert Lee Washington, 68, of Roxie, who died Wednesday, May 22, 2013, at University Medical center in Jackson, will be 11 a.m. today at Higdon Community Church in Roxie with the  Rev. Edward C. Dillon Sr. officiating.

Burial will follow in the Higdon Community Church Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. today until time of services at the church.

Mr. Washington was born Oct. 13, 1944 in Meadville, the son of George Washington and Rosie Lee Sanders. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and five brothers.

Survivors include five daughters; four sons; two sisters; one brother; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
