FERRIDAY — Services for Herbie Jean Turner of Ferriday, a retired teacher, who died Thursday, May 9, 2013, at Regency Place Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Baton Rouge, will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Monroe, La.

Burial will follow at Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery in Haynesville, La., under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.
