Fannie Arnold

NATCHEZ – The life of Fannie Arnold, 92, will be celebrated with a home-going service at 1 p.m. today at the First Assembly of God Church, on Liberty Road, with Brother Ken Emsminger officiating.
Mrs. Arnold, having known Jesus as her personal savior for almost 60 years, went to her heavenly home to live in the presence of her Lord, for all eternity on Sunday, Aug. 3, 2008.
Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Mrs. Arnold was known by her family as a devout Christian lady and for her steadfast belief in the need of and rewards from a faithful and powerful prayer life. She was admired by everyone that knew her for the grace and dignity she exhibited as a model pastor’s wife for the late Rev. Percy Arnold for over 45 years. Her love and devotion to her church, her family and to everyone she met will be deeply missed.
Mrs. Arnold was preceded in death by her dearly beloved husband of 58 years, the Rev. Percy Arnold; five brothers, Ben Huber, Will Huber, Dick Huber, Sam Huber, Jack Huber; two sisters, Ida Huber and Amy Huber.
Survivors include three daughters, Patsy Wood of Baton Rouge, Sue King of Natchez, and Diane Graham of Summertown, Tenn.; one son, Roger Arnold of Vidalia; one brother, Russell “Bob” Huber of Natchez; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Loyd Graham, Brad Graham, Bill Ivey, Russell Thomas, Scott Hume, and Baxter Lee.
