Keimon Brice charged with sale of a controlled substance. Case bound over to a grand jury. Brice was also charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance. Case also bound over to a grand jury.

Joshua Carroll charged with two counts of sale of a controlled substance. Case bound over to a grand jury.

Adams County Circuit Court Cases

Friday, May 17:

Frank James Washington pleaded to burglary of an automobile (Count I) in Judge Lillie Blackmon Sanders’ court. Sentenced to seven years in the Mississippi Department of Corrections. After serving 11 months, the remaining balance is suspended and the defendant is placed in the intensive supervision program/house arrest program for one year. Upon successful completion of the intensive supervision program/house arrest program, the remaining balance is to be served on five years post release supervision, which shall be supervised under the supervision of the MDOC. Credit given for any time already served in the Adams County Jail. Must pay all court costs, a prosecution fee of $200 and all outstanding court costs in cause numbered 12KR0002S within six months from this day in the office of the Adams County Circuit Clerk. The defendants shall enroll, attend and successfully complete an Alcohol Anonymous/Narcotics Anonymous program one time per week. Count II (burglary of an automobile) is dismissed.

Richard Douglas Felter pleaded guilty to simple robbery (Count I) in Sanders’ court. Sentenced to seven years in the MDOC. Upon release, the defendant must pay all court costs and the prosecution fee of $200 within one year of release in the office of the Adams County Circuit Clerk. Count II (burglary of a dwelling) is dismissed.

Demarcus L. Christmas, 28, charged with violating the city’s noise ordinance. Case dismissed.

Devin Colby Byrd, 19, pleaded guilty to violating the city’s noise ordinance. Sentenced to three days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $313.

Thomas Oliver Sr., 50, charged with disturbing the peace. Case remanded to files — officer failed to appear. Oliver was also charged with fleeing or eluding a law enforcement officer in a motor vehicle. Case remanded to files — officer failed to appear.

Diquan D. Seal, 19, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor possession of stolen property. Sentenced to 60 days suspended for two years pending good behavior. Fine set at $450. Bond set at $30,000.

Kelvin L. Abraham Jr., 18, charged with burglary of an inhabited dwelling with a weapon. Case bound over to a grand jury. Bond reduced from $20,000 to $15,000. Abraham was also charged with three counts of burglary of an inhabited dwelling with a weapon. Waived preliminary hearing. Case bound over to a grand jury. Bond reduced from $30,000 to $20,000 on each count. Abraham was also charged with two charges of burglary of an inhabited dwelling with a weapon. Waive preliminary hearing. Case bound over to a grand jury. Bond reduced from $20,000 to $15,000 on each count.

Gyasi Rhodes, 33, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor shoplifting. Sentenced to 60 days with 43 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. To serve 17 days in jail. Fine set at $573.

Darius R. Terrell, 18, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance in a motor vehicle. Sentenced to 60 days suspended for one pending goof forward. Driver’s license suspended for six months. Fine set at $550. Terrell also pleaded guilty to no tag. Fine set at $207.
