NATCHEZ — A 15-year-old boy was charged Saturday for reportedly robbing a county resident with a yellow gun on May 8.
Adams County Sheriff Chuck Mayfield said Jermetrice Devan Griffin, 15, 348-A State Park Road, was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and armed robbery.
Griffin reportedly robbed an Old Meadow Lane resident at gunpoint shortly after a young girl came to the victim’s door and asked for $2, which the victim gave her.
Brandishing what the victim described to investigators as “a yellow gun,” Griffin reportedly came to the house, forcing the victim onto the floor and taking his wallet, Mayfield said.
No bond has been set for Griffin, and more arrests are pending in the case, Mayfield said.
