Sheila Johnson pleaded guilty to false pretense.

Verenzo Green charged with escape. Case bound over to a grand jury. Green was also charged with destruction of public property. Case bound over to a grand jury.

Khadijah Mosby charged with escape. Case bound over to a grand jury. Mosby was also charged with destruction of public property. Case bound over to a grand jury.

Benjamin Desjardine charged with aiding and abetting an escapee. Case bound over to a grand jury.

Hines Brown Jr. pleaded guilty to simple assault.

Camille Barnes pleaded guilty to confining creatures without food or water.

Tuesday, May 14:

Nedrick Kermain Hawkins pleaded guilty to possession of stolen firearm (Count I) in Judge Lillie Blackmon Sanders’ court. Sentenced to three years in the Mississippi Department of Corrections to run consecutively with the post release revocation sentence in cause numbered 10KR0151S. Upon release from MDOC, the defendant must play all court costs and the prosecution fee of $200 in the office of the Adams County Circuit Clerk. Credit given for any time already served in the Adams County Jail. Count 2 (possession of a weapon by a convicted felon) is dismissed.

Monday, May 13:

Christopher M. Combs pleaded guilty to possession of a weapon by a convicted felon in Sanders’ court. Sentenced to five years in MDOC. After serving one day, the remaining balance is to be served on four years and 364 days post release supervision, which shall be supervised under the supervision of MDOC. Credit given for any time already served in the Adams County Jail. Must pay all court costs and the prosecution fee of $200 within 30 days from this day (May 10) in the office of the Adams County Circuit Clerk.

Jessie A. Davis pleaded guilty to two counts of burglary of a storehouse in Sanders’ court. Sentenced to six years in the MDOC on each count. After serving one day, the remaining balance is suspended and the defendant is placed in the intensive supervision program/house arrest program for one year. Upon successful completion of the intensive supervision program/house arrest program, the remaining balance is to be served on five years post release supervision, which shall be supervised under the supervision of MDOC. Credit given for any time already served in the Adams County Jail. Must pay all court costs and the prosecution fee of $200 within one year from this day (May 7) in the office of the Adams County Circuit Clerk.

Erwin Wallace Nichols pleaded guilty to grand larceny in Sanders’ court. Sentenced to five years in MDOC suspended and the defendant is placed in the intensive supervision program/house arrest program for one year. Upon successful completion of the intensive supervision program/house arrest program, the remaining balance is to be served on four years post release supervision, which shall be supervised under the supervision of MDOC. Credit given for any time already served in the Adams County Jail. Must pay all court costs, a prosecution fee of $200, and restitution in the amount of $212.50 in the office of the Adams County Circuit Clerk within 90 days from this day (May 7).

Nedrick Hawkins has his probation revoked in Sanders’ court after violating the terms and conditions of his probation; rule numbered 10, not violate any laws of the United States or any state thereof. Sentenced to three years in MDOC to run consecutively with sentence in cause numbered 13KR0003S. Credit given for any already served in the Adams County Jail.

Friday, May 10:

Maurice Pullins violated the terms of his supervision by failing to report as required; however, for good cause Judge Forest “Al” Johnson’s court orders that the defendant be returned to formal reporting supervision for the remaining balance of his sentence.

Friday, May 3:

Ashley Shante White pleaded guilty to felony shoplifting in Sanders’ court. Sentenced to five years in MDOC suspended and the defendant is placed on five years formal probation under the supervision of MDOC. Must pay all court costs and a prosecution fee of $200 in the office of the Adams County Circuit Clerk with 90 days from this date (May 1).

Natchez Municipal Court Cases

Friday, May 10:

Raven S. Brown, 22, pleaded guilty to disturbing the peace. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $373.

Latara Cade, 19, pleaded guilty to disturbing the peace. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $373.

Keith M. Stampley, 49, pleaded guilty to public drunkenness. Sentenced to 10 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $323.

Ronnie Griffin, 18, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor possession of marijuana. Driver’s license suspended for six months. Fine set at $473.
