Mr. and Mrs. Trip Monger of Germantown, Tenn., announce the engagement of their daughter, Callie Elizabeth, to Tyler Ellis, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Wes Ellis of Collierville, Tenn.

The bride-to-be is a 2008 graduate of Briarcrest Christian High School and a graduate of the University of Mississippi where she earned a degree in hospitality management and was a member of Kappa Delta sorority.

She is the granddaughter of Sissy Eidt and the late Henry Eidt of Natchez and Peggy Monger and the late Dr. Ralph H. Monger Jr. of Memphis, Tenn.

The groom-to-be is also a 2008 graduate of Briarcrest Christian High School and a graduate of the University of Mississippi where he earned a bachelor of science and biology degree and was a member of Sigma Chi fraternity. He will begin his doctor of medicine degree at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in August.

He is the grandson of the late Barbara Dunn of Memphis and Don Dunn of Hot Springs, Ark., and the late Bob Ellis of Memphis.

The wedding will be June 8, 2013, at Germantown Presbyterian Church. After returning from their honeymoon, Callie and Tyler will live in Memphis.
