Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Leo Geter announce the engagement of their daughter, Emily Margaret Geter, to Benjamin Scott Pollard, son of Mr. and Mrs. William B. Pollard Sr., all of Natchez.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Trinity Episcopal Day School in Natchez and a graduate of Copiah-Lincoln Community College in Natchez. She is currently attending Mississippi University for Women in Columbus, majoring in elementary education.

She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Clifford Lee Cobb of Woodville and the late Leo A. Geter Jr. and Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Charles Gonsoulin of Woodville.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of Cathedral School in Natchez and a graduate of Hinds Community College in Jackson. He is employed by Magnolia Rehab in Starkville as a physical therapy assistant.

He is the grandson of Jack and Katherine Scott and the late Willie and Edith Pollard, all of Natchez.

The wedding will be at 4:30 p.m., Saturday, June 15, 2013, at First Baptist Church in Natchez.

A reception will follow the ceremony.
