NATCHEZ — This year’s meeting of the International Paper Company’s Quarter-Century Club will be 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 18 at the Natchez Shrine Club.
The club is comprised of former IP employees who worked for the company — which shuttered its Natchez operations in 2003 — for at least 25 years.
The meeting will include a fish fry, and former IP employee Mildred Hughes said the company still reimburses her for the annual event.
“It is wonderful to see those men who worked all of their lives together,” she said. “I have been gone from the company for 27 years, and I love to see everybody.”
