NATCHEZ — The Natchez Police Department is investigating a series of car window breakings that happened Sunday.
According to reports at the Natchez Police Department, windows on cars on South Concord Avenue, Park Place, South Martin Luther King Jr. Street, St. Mary Street, Miller Avenue and two vehicles on Itasca Drive were broken.
The damaged car’s owner on South Concord Avenue said the window had been shot out with an air gun.
Other reports said the owners of the vehicles had seen a male running from the scene and attempting to hide, and the reports said the police had a suspect, but as of Monday afternoon no arrests had been made.
NPD Spokesman Jerry Ford could not be reached Monday.
