NATCHEZ — Mississippi State Treasurer Lynn Fitch will be in Natchez this week to speak at a Natchez-Adams County Chamber of Commerce luncheon.

Chamber President Debbie Hudson said Fitch will speak at a luncheon for chamber members Wednesday.

The chamber routinely invites state leaders to speak in Natchez, and Hudson said the luncheon is a great way for Natchez to keep in touch with state officials.

“Although they’re in Jackson … it’s a way to meet these people who represent out interest and have a better relationship with our government and community,” Hudson said.

The luncheon is from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the grand ballroom of the Natchez Eola Hotel. Chamber members were to reserve their tickets by Friday, Hudson said.
