NATCHEZ – Services for Tim Leroy Cupit, 77, of Natchez, who died Monday, Oct. 27, 2008, at Baptist Medical Center, in Jackson, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Laird Funeral Home Union Street Chapel.
Burial will follow at Oak Grove Methodist Church Cemetery, in Bude, under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mr. Cupit was born June 7, 1931, in Foules, La., the son of Willie Earl and Mary Augusta Smith Cupit. He was retired from International Paper Company as an electrician.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Cupit; his parents; three sisters; and three brothers.
Survivors include three sons, Eddie R. Cupit of Grenada, James D. Cupit of Natchez and Tim L. Cupit Jr. of Brandon; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; three nieces; and four nephews.
Pallbearers will be Shawn Cupit, Robert D. Cloy Jr., Jeff Nichols, Jody Nichols, T.J. Cupit and Sam Keo.
