Mae Reeves

FERRIDAY – Services for Mae “Mae Mae” Reeves, 93, of Clayton, who died Friday, Oct. 31, 2008, at Riverland Medical Center in Ferriday, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Young’s Funeral Home with the Rev. Bob Schelmer officiating.
Burial will follow at Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mrs. Reeves was born April 29, 1915, in Evangeline Parish, La., the daughter of Daniel N. Kelley and Eunice Robert Kelley. She was formerly employed by Nichols Department Store and was retired.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jeff R. Reeves; her parents; one son, Edward Reeves and infant son, Baby Jr.
Survivors include two daughters, Barbara Benoit of Port Barre, La. and Evelyn Bowers of Clayton; one special daughter-in-law, Ollie M. Faulkner; one sister, Ruth Ethridge; her precious dog, Jenny; 10 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 29 great-great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
