NATCHEZ — Services for Hazel Jean Crawford, 71, of Natchez, who died Saturday, April 20, 2013, in Brandon, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Holy Family Catholic Church with the Rev. Ric Phipps officiating.

Burial will follow at Sunset View Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Webb Funeral Home.

Visitation will be at 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Ms. Crawford was born Nov. 11, 1941, in Natchez, the daughter of Loretta Jones. She attended St. Francis Catholic School and was a member of the class of 1961. She worked at J.C. Penney and was retired.

Ms. Crawford was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church where she served as a choir member, a member of Knights of St. Peter Claver Ladies Auxiliary, Father Morrisey Court No. 9 3rd Degree, Knights of St. Peter Clever 4th Degree, Ladies of Grace, H.R. Marshall/Sister E. Brinkley Chapter No. 44.

Ms. Crawford enjoyed cooking, traveling, collecting recipes and scrapbooking.

She was preceded in death by her mother; two sisters, Julia Jones and Mary Christian; three brothers, Glen Jones, Leon Jones and Wallace Jones; one son-in-law, Andre Brown; and nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters-in-law.

Survivors include one sister, Barbara A. Washington; Connie Brown, a niece who she raised; and a number of nieces, nephews, godchildren and cousins.

Pallbearers will be nephews.
