JONESVILLE – Services for Gloria Jean Ford Tomlinson, 57, of Harrisonburg, La., who died Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2008, at Riverland Medical Center in Ferriday, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Potters House Pentecostal Church with Brother Russell Hathcock, Brother Rusty Hathcock and Brother Scott Fletcher officiating.
Burial will follow at Heard Cemetery, in Manifest, La., under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home in Jonesville.
Visitation will be from 5 to 10 p.m. today at the church.
Mrs. Tomlinson was born April 3, 1951, in Catahoula Parish, the daughter of Alton and Thelma Gibson Ford. She was a homemaker and a member of the Potters House Pentecostal Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her husband of 38 years, H.J. Tomlinson; one daughter, Missy Hathcock and husband, Rusty, both of Coushatta, La.; one son, Jason Tomlinson and wife, Tiffany, both of Harrisonburg; five granddaughters, Hillary, Linsey and Kinsey Hathcock, Alexis and Ali Tomlinson; stepmother, Alpha Ford of Jonesville; four sisters, Alean Tolbert and husband, Cleveland, Helen Boyd and husband, Billy, and Tammy Smith and husband, Kyle, all of Jonesville, and Pam Ford of Natchez; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Tye Hutchins, Jesse Smith, Aaron Hutchins Jr., Lea Jimmy Tomlinson, Darrell Randall and Brian Tomlinson.
