FERRIDAY – Services for Daleon Cortez Gordon, 6 months, of Ferriday, who died Saturday, Nov. 15, 2008, at Riverland Medical Center in Ferriday, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Concordia Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tracey Cusic officiating.
Burial will follow at Ferriday Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Cortez was born May 14, 2008, in Jackson, the son of Alex Promise Jr. and Crystal Gordon.
He was preceded in death by his father; and maternal grandparents, Janet Gordon and Ronnie Smith.
Survivors include his mother; one brother, Ja’Shun Gordon; maternal great-grandparents, Bennie and Dorothy Loyd; two aunts, Zenobia Green and Amber Gordon; and other aunts, uncles, and relatives, all of Ferriday.
