NATCHEZ — Services for Billy Boutwell, 57, of Natchez, who died Thursday, Nov. 27, 2008, at his residence, were 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 1, 2008, at Laird Funeral Home Union Street Chapel with the Rev. John Sharp and the Rev. Dick Root officiating.
Burial followed at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Mr. Boutwell was born Jan. 11, 1951, in Natchez, the son of William Lee Boutwell Sr. and Martha Carolyn Boutwell. He was employed with Miss-Lou Electric Company for eight years. He was a Baptist.
Mr. Boutwell was an avid hunter, fisherman and a professional bottle collector.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include two daughters, Margaret Kate Boutwell of Natchez and Rachel Cathleen Boutwell of Vidalia; one granddaughter, Caelan Nevaeh Scott of Natchez; two brothers, Bobby Boutwell of Ellisville and Lorie Boutwell of Baldwin; girlfriend, Judy Redd of Natchez; special friend, Sarah Redd of Natchez; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Bryant, Robert Prospere, Sim Callon, Dempse McMullen, Trinity Scott and Craig Ferguson.
Honorary pallbearers will be Billy Nelson, Joe Nunnery, Thomas Templeton and employees of Southside Market.
