NATCHEZ — Services for Oliver Kenneth Carr, 91, of Natchez, who died Monday, April 8, 2013, at his residence, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Cliff Temple Baptist Church with the Rev. Russell Wagoner officiating.

Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. until service time Thursday, both at the church.

Mr. Carr was born Feb. 1, 1922, in Ashland, Mont., the son of Hubert Carr and Mary Etta Whittinger Carr. He was a member and a deacon of Cliff Temple Baptist Church.

Mr. Carr was a World War II veteran.

He was preceded in death by his parents; 11 siblings; and one son-in-law, David Stanley.

Survivors include his wife, June Evelyn Fischer Carr; one daughter, Susan Stanley of Natchez; three sons, David Lane Carr and wife, Beth, of Krotza Springs, La., Norman Eddie Carr and wife, Julia, of Angola, La., and Rodney L. Carr of Natchez; and a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be members of Cliff Temple Baptist Church.
