NATCHEZ — Services for Dale Leomie Curtis, 71, of Natchez, who died Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2008, at Glenburney Nursing Home, will be at 2 p.m. today at Zion Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. Walter Sago officiating.

Burial will follow at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Webb Funeral System.

Mrs. Curtis was born Nov. 4, 1937, in Coles, the daughter of Tim and Leona Williams.

She was a retired nurse’s assistant who devoted her life to caring for others.

Mrs. Curtis was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Rafus Williams; and sister, Amy Williams.

Survivors include her son, Larry Darnell Curtis and wife, Carolyn; god daughter, Sheila Williams-Rogers and husband, Steven; granddaughters, Angerian Woods and Kiana Myles; two step-grandchildren, Kadarius Myles and Deondria Myles; one great-grandchild; foster daughters, Jonshae Hawkins, Jackie Fletcher; foster son, Kenrick Fletcher; two brothers, Amos Mims and wife, Dorothy and Lonnie Williams; sister, Mamie Jackson; special caring friend, Lavonne Belton and husband, Timothy; many step-children, step-grandchildren, family and friends.
