BUDE — Funeral services for Lonnie Ray “Red” Harris Sr., 65, of Bude, who died Wednesday, December 10, 2008 at Natchez Regional Medical Center will be at 2 p.m. today at East Roxie Church of Christ.

Viewing will be from 1 p.m. until service time at the church. Visitation was 7 p.m. Saturday at Marshall Funeral Home Chapel in Bude.

Burial will follow at Higdon Cemetery in Oldenburg under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Mr. Harris was born Aug. 31, 1943, the son of Lula Mae Harris White and Johnny Sanders. He was a member of East Roxie Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his loving and devoted wife, Mary Louise Harris; two sons, Lonnie R. Harris Jr. of Roxie and Raymond Spearman Jr, of Calif.; three daughters, Angela Harris Anderson and husband Larry, of Calif., Keno Browner, of Calif., and April Browner, of Roxie; four brothers, Luther Harris and wife Vera, L.J. White, Pearlie White and David Sanders and wife Grace, all of Kirby; five sisters, Katie Morgan, Dorothy Williams, Beatrice Stampley and husband Leroy, Pearlie Mae Green and husband Jamie, all of Kirby, and Rosie Marie Sanders and husband Murphy of Gloster; 10 grandchildren; one great-grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
