NATCHEZ — Services for Ruby Gayle Brannan, 77, who died Saturday, Dec. 20, 2008, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, were 3 p.m. Monday, Dec. 22, 2008, at Laird Funeral Home Union Street Chapel with the Rev. Dan Wynn officiating.
Burial followed at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Mrs. Brannan was born June 3, 1931, in Voss, Texas, the daughter of Ben Thomas and Lola Mae Wester Woodard. She was the last sibling of her extended family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lester “Bill” Brannan; and one daughter, Debra Gayle Brannan.
Survivors include two daughters, Henry Jo Byrd and husband, Bubba, and Marie Tucker and husband, Bubba, all of Natchez; one son, Aaron Brannan of wife, Carol, both of Richton; six grandchildren, Shannon Dawson, Ashley Tharp, Stephen Tucker, Matthew Brannan, Christian Brannan and Brian Tucker; eight great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Stephens Tucker, Brian Tucker, Matthew Brannan, Christian Brannan, Bubba Byrd and Bubba Tucker.
