FERRIDAY — Services for Eudice Edward Evans, 70, of Violet, La., formerly of Monterey, who died Sunday, Dec. 28, 2008, in New Orleans, will be at 2 p.m. today at Comer Funeral Home Chapel with Carl Ellard and Horace Evans officiating.

Burial will follow in Ellard Cemetery in Monterey under the direction of Comer Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time today at the funeral home.

Mr. Evans was born Jan. 7, 1938, in Catahoula Parish, the son of Horace E. and Fannie H. Hedricks.
