FERRIDAY — Services for Leon Hall, 50, of Ferriday, who died Tuesday, March 26, 2013, at his residence, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Mount Beulah Baptist Church in Ferriday with the Rev. Eugene Williams.

Burial will follow at Ferriday Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Hall was born Aug. 15, 1962, the son of Geneva Hall and Earnest Foley.

He was a correctional officer for Concordia Correctional Facility in Ferriday.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include one brother, Jackie Dixon of Ferriday and wife, LaVerne; two sisters, Leola Carter and husband, Kenneth, of Greenwell Springs, La., and Lorraine Hall of Ferriday; two nieces, Arie Taylor of Ferriday and April Leonard of Baton Rouge.
