VIDALIA — Services for Margie Renee Cubie, 40, of Vidalia, formerly of Chicago, who died Tuesday, March 26, 2013, at her residence, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Union Baptist Church with the Rev. Carl Smith officiating.

Burial will follow at the Whitehall Cemetery in Vidalia under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Cubie was born Aug. 26, 1972, in Chicago, the daughter of Irene White. She was an administrative assistant for the Social Security Administration.

She enjoyed cooking, gardening and taking care of her pets. She was a member of the Vidalia Garden Club, Crime Stoppers of Vidalia and Zeta Phi Beta Sorority.

She was preceded in death by her mother.

Survivors include her husband, Kyle Cubie; one sister, Adrian White; and three nieces, Monique Thomas, Tiffany Hines and Adrienne Hines, all of Chicago.
