033113 MattieSTrevino obitpicFORT SMITH, Ark. — Graveside services for Mattie Sarah Trevino, 79, of Fort Smith, Ark., who went home to be with her Lord and Savior Tuesday, March 26, 2013, will be at 10:45 a.m. Monday at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 8:30 to 9:45 a.m. Monday at Sunset Funeral Home in San Antonio, Texas.

Mrs. Trevino was born March 15, 1934, in Natchez, the daughter of Alonzo Tucker Williams Sr. and Minnie Lee Judge Williams. Paternal grandparents were Daniel Cicero Williams and Martha “Mattie” C. McCary of Laurel and maternal grandparents were Thomas Madison Judge and Sarah Ann Walker of Newton.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse A. Trevino; her parents; grandparents; and two brothers, James T. Williams and Alonzo T. Williams Jr.

Survivors include two sons, Charles L. Booker Jr. and wife, Claudette Marie DeRocher Booker, of Fort Smith and Andrew Forrest Booker and wife, Carol Ann Abshier Booker, of Eagle River, Alaska; one brother, Harry Williams of Harrisburg, Pa.; three grandchildren, Maj. Erik Booker, U.S. Army of Fort Jackson, S.C., Dr. Adam Booker, assistant professor of music at the University of Minnesota Duluth and Dr. Colleen Booker Halverson, English instructor at the University of Wisconsin at Richland Center, Wisconsin; her eight precious great-grandchildren, Alex, Brennan, Colton, Devin, Ronald, Skye, Cassidy and Colin; and her two great-great-grandchildren, Khristin and Rylee.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the music department at the University of Arkansas of Fort Smith.
