VIDALIA — Services for Lubertha “Honey Punch” Smith Johnson, 92, of Vidalia, who died Monday, March 25, 2013, at Heritage Manor Health and Rehab Center in Ferriday, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Union Baptist Church in Vidalia with the Rev. Carl Smith officiating.

Burial will follow at the Vidalia Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Ms. Johnson was born Feb. 4, 1921, in Vidalia, the daughter of Ed and Pearl Cable Smith.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, William Smith; and three brothers.

Survivors include one brother, David Smith; 10 nephews, Leonard Brown, Damus Smith, David Smith and Robert Charman, all of Vidalia, Eric Smith and wife, Tract, of Natchez, Frederick Brown and wife, Ruth, of Mobile, Ala., Anthony Brown and wife, Betsy, of Gulf Port, Marvin Brown and wife, Carol, of Alexandria, La., Lionel Smith and wife, Barbara, of Houston, Texas and Eddie Lee Smith and wife, Shelia, of Shreveport, La.; 10 nieces, Carol E. Ransom and husband, Dexter, of Baton Rouge, Geraldine Brown, Delores Robinson, Gerri Ellis, Rosie Lee Matchett, Pearl Long and husband, George, and Thelma Long, all of Vidalia, Lorenza Perkins of Kenner, La., Doris Johnson of Katy, Texas and Doris Jones of Washington, D.C.
