NATCHEZ — Heard about Twitter, but don’t know what it is, let alone how to use it? You’re in luck.

The Judge George W. Armstrong Library in conjunction with a national campaign from nonprofit Connect2Compete will host a free class on how to use Twitter at 5 p.m. tonight at the library.

Connect2Compete has worked with library partners in Mississippi, including the Armstrong Library in Natchez, to aggregate digital skills training opportunities.

The Armstrong Library will host the class, titled, “How to Use Twitter for Beginners.” The class is free, but registration is required. The class will cover what exactly Twitter is and how to use it. By the time the class ends, patrons will have a Twitter account and know how to use the basics. Patrons are encouraged to bring a smartphone, tablet or laptop. There are library computers for participants to use as well.
