JONESVILLE — Services for William Sikes “Billy” Baker III, 52, of Jonesville, who died Thursday, Jan. 29, 2009, at his residence, will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Grace Baptist Church with the Rev. Perry Gardner and the Rev. Frank Bass officiating.
Burial will follow at Heard Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home in Jonesville.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mr. Sikes was born Dec. 23, 1956, in Sikeston, Mo., the son of Bill and Pat Baker. He was the shop foreman for Ater Warehouse for over 20 years.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Survivors include his wife, Marsha Baker; two sons, Hunter Baker and wife, Kristen, both of Humble, Texas and Isreal Kimbrough and wife, Cherryl, both of Trout, La.; four daughters, Laci Baker of Nebo, La., Codie LaCroix and husband, Jason, both of Jena, La., Queenie Kimbrough of Jonesville and Lanell Briggs and husband, Andy, both of Vidalia; eight grandchildren, Katlyn Baker, Gracie, Gavin and Lillie LaCroix, Noel and Ada Kimbrough, Kelsie and Blain Briggs; his mother and stepfather, Pat and George Byrnes; and one brother, David Baker, all of Ridgecrest.
Pallbearers will be Ed Ater, David Cooper, Johnny Spamn, Bill Brown, James Peoples and Cal Walker.
Honorary pallbearers will be Donnie Ater, Ronnie Bradford, Roger Book and Wayne Thomas.
