NATCHEZ —Natchez Ford will experience considerable changes in the next few months.
“We had more business than we had service space,” General Manager and owner Brad Yarbrough said. “If you have more customers than space you can’t properly work.”
To solve the problem, the dealership is constructing a 6,500 square foot addition.
“We want to be able to have the opportunity to serve and work on larger recreational vehicles as well as oil servicing vehicles.” Yarbrough said.
Service manager Jimmy Bazemore said he believes the expansion will benefit the dealership.
“The work environment and workflow will be much better than it already is, and that much more efficient, too,” Bazemore said.
The expansion will also feature a state-of-the-art photo booth to allow better photographs of cars for online sales.
Internet manager Chris Gann said he believes the booth will put the dealership well above bigger city competitors.
“With this booth we have the capability to show every aspect of the vehicle for our customers to view online,” Gann said. “No one in Mississippi or Louisiana has this feature.”
The dealership sells up to 50 cars a month online, and is growing. Yarbrough said that Natchez Ford would be one of the few dealerships in the nation with the booth.
“The pictures will be taken in a controlled environment with a pedal that will allow us to take photos of every angle,” Yarbrough said.
“Being one of the first dealers in the county to have one makes the entire experience exciting.”
Construction should be completed in June.
