NATCHEZ — Services for Ollie Mae Wright Fletcher, 74, of Natchez, who died Friday, March 1, 2013, at Natchez Community Hospital, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Antioch Baptist Church with Dr. J.L. Hammitte officiating.
Burial will follow at the Rowan Cemetery under the direction of Bateaste Memorial Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
Mrs. Fletcher was born March 16, 1938, in Adams County, the daughter of Louis and Mamie Collins Wright.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Fletcher Sr.; her parents; and seven brothers, Louis C. Walter, Solomon, Lofty, Richard, Sidney and John Wright.
Survivors include five children, Johnny Wright and wife, Naritha, Willie Wright and wife, Linda, Lillie B. Wright, Priscilla Beasley and Nellie Hawkins and husband, Charlie; 10 grandchildren, a very special and devoted granddaughter, Amysa Hawkins, Joni Patrick, Brandon Matthews, Johnny Wright Jr., Nicole Wright, Kirsten Wright, Charlie Hawkins Jr., William Wright, Jason Wright and Jonathan Hawkins; 16 great-grandchildren; a very special niece, Arline Hutchins, who she loved and reared as her daughter, and her three sons, LeAnthony, Evan and Reginald Hutchins; a very special stepson, Henry Fletcher Jr. and wife, Vinda; one stepdaughter, Josephine Hood; three sisters, Gladys Fleming, Myles Ware-McGruder and Lillie B. Fleming; a special friend for a number of years, Lapora Ellis; four sisters-in-law, Arlene Wright, Linda Wright, Katie Fletcher and Lettie M. Fletcher; two brothers-in-law, Abe Fletcher and Richard Fletcher; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
