FERRIDAY — Services for Daniel Lee Edwards, 53, of Ferriday, who died Monday, March 4, 2013, at his residence, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Greater St. Reed Baptist Church in Ferriday with the Rev. Justin Conner officiating.

Burial will follow at the Ferriday Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mr. Edwards was born May 31, 1959, in Ferriday, the son of Charles Hayes and Rosie Edwards Walker.

Survivors include his parents; two sons, Daniel Edwards and wife, Quintina, and Ricky Townsend; one daughter, Diane Kimble and husband, George; one brother, Samuel Edwards, all of Ferriday; one sister, Christine Davis of Natchez; seven grandchildren; four aunts, Elizabeth Harden and Ruby Branch, both of Sacramento, Calif., Mary Allen of San Antonio, Texas and Gladys Edwards of Ferriday; and one uncle, Leonard Branch of Cincinnati, Ohio.
