VIDALIA — Services for Dorothy Johnson Speigner, 79, of Houston, Texas, formerly of Vidalia, who died Tuesday, March 3, 2009, in Houston, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Zion Baptist Church, in Vidalia, with Brother Wendell Greene Sr. officiating.
Burial will follow at the Vidalia Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Mrs. Speigner was born Oct. 14, 1929, in Vidalia, the daughter of Johnny Johnson Sr. and Ella Graham. She was a retired paralegal.
Survivors include one sister, Lillie Warner of Vidalia; one brother, Jeffery Batiste of San Mateo, Calif.; and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
