FERRIDAY — Services for Stephen Keith Roberts, lifelong resident of Vidalia, who died Sunday, March 3, 2013, at his residence, will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Comer Funeral Home Chapel in Ferriday with the Rev. Richard McClellum officiating.
Burial will follow at the Natchez City Cemetery under the direction of Comer Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 8 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Roberts was born to the union of Wayne Edward and Melva M. Lail Roberts. He was a member of Vidalia Church of Christ.
Mr. Roberts was an avid outdoorsman with fishing and hunting and was mechanically inclined to do anything he set his mind to do. He was in the construction business and was a welder. He was known as a hard worker at whatever job he had to do. He was a family man that loved his children and loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Mr. Roberts was preceded in death by his wife, Karren Sue White Roberts.
Survivors include two daughters, Tosha Leigh Roberts and Mindy NeCole Roberts, both of Vidalia; two grandchildren, Trinity Lee Roberts and Kalie Elizabeth Stephens, both of Vidalia; his parents of Vidalia; one brother, Glen Roberts and wife, Brenda, of Vidalia; four nephews, Zachary Roberts and wife, Stephanie, of Dubach, La., Joshua Walt Roberts and wife, Suzie, of Springfield, Mo., Caleb Matthew Roberts of Waco, Texas and Amos Roberts of Shreveport, La.; and a number of nieces, nephews and friends.
Pallbearers will be Jake Trisler, Charles Green, Bartel Schneider, Jason Stephens, Michael Coldiron and Mike Stephens.
