FROGMORE, La. — Services for Demetrius “MeMe” Green, 48, of Ferriday, who died Thursday, March 5, 2009, at Louisiana State University Medical Center in Pineville, La., will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. James Baptist Church with the Rev. James Devine officiating.
Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mrs. Green was born Dec. 13, 1960, in Frogmore, the daughter of Alex Sr. and Lillie Scott Green.
She was preceded in death by her father; one brother, Alex Green Jr.; and one sister, Clarice Green.
Survivors include her mother; four brothers, Cedric Green and wife, Gloria, Darrell Green, Bryan Green and Emanuel Green and wife, Dorothy, all of Ferriday; two sisters, Marilyn Green of Ferriday and Joyce Jordan and husband, Thomas, both of Chicago, and a number of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
