MAYFLOWER, Ark. — Services for Alton M. Hall, 73, of Mayflower, Ark., who died Saturday, March 14, 2009, at his residence, will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Ferriday with the Rev. Louis Sklar officiating.

Burial will follow at Natchez City Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today with a Rosary service at 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Hall was born Nov. 28, 1935, in Wisner, La., the son of Louie Hall and Onnie Mae Smith Hall. He was a long-time resident of Ferriday and a member of the St. Patrick Catholic Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents; in-laws, Fred and Dovie Beach; and three brothers-in-law, Fred Jr., Paul and James “Buck” Beach.

Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth “Sissy” Beach Hall of Mayflower; two sons, Eddie and his wife Hilda Hall of Houston, Texas, and Pat Hall of Little Rock; three daughters, Carolyn and husband Thomas Kenney Jr. of Mayflower, Cathy and husband Richard Wickham of Lake Ozark, Mo., and Jeannean and husband Jon Rollins of Jonesboro, Ark.; 13 grandchildren, Karen and husband Mike Graham, Marshall Kenny, Kristen and husband Allen Maples, Amy Hall, Christy Zeagler, Erica Patten, Randeé Patten-Kaufman and husband Joe, Catie Hall, Sarah Hall, Hannah Rollins, Jonathan Rollins, Wesley Rollins and Taylor Gray; and six great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Tony Guirlando, Rocco Guirlando, Mike Martin, Mike Graham, Allen Maples, Darren Carter and Jon Alley.

Honorary pallbearers will be Frank Smith, Nathan Calhoun, Lynwood Easterling, Walter Maier, Reginald Poole and William Duncan.
