NATCHEZ — Services for Tyrone “Hound” Green, 46, of Natchez, who died Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2013, at Promise Hospital in Vidalia, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Mount Sinai Baptist Church in Sibley with the Rev. James Brooks officiating.
Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Bateaste Memorial Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
Mr. Green was born Sept. 19, 1966, in Natchez, the son of Queen Green Profit and Sullivan Brown. He attended Natchez public schools and worked for Wright’s Logging, Quinn Logging and Kaiser Logging.
Mr. Green was a member of the Universal Home Support Society.
He was preceded in death by his father; one brother, Roderick Green; grandparents, Jimmy Green Sr. and Mary Green; and one aunt, Dora Fitzgerald.
Survivors include his mother; three sisters, Juanella Lyles and husband, William, Victoria Profit and fiancé, Damion, and Brenda Washington; one brother, Lance Green; five aunts, Geneva Wesley and husband, Louis, Mahalia Williams, Hattie Wayne, Shirley Mack and husband, Charlie, and Eva Smith; one uncle, Jimmy Green and wife, Sarah; four nieces; three nephews; two great-nieces; and a number of other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be friends of Tyrone Green.
