NATCHEZ — Services for Judith Blanche Freeman, 58, of Natchez, who entered eternal life surrounded by family Saturday, March 14, 2009, will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Washington Baptist Church with the Rev. Norris Curry officiating.
Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the church.
Miss Freeman was born July 21, 1950, in Jackson, the daughter of James and Joyce Freeman.
She was a certified nursing assistant at Glenburney Nursing Home for 27 years until her retirement.
Miss Freeman attended Washington Baptist Church, where she was a Sunday school teacher for the 4-and 5-year-old pre-school.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one niece, Ayla Brumbelow; and one brother-in-law, Ronny Brown.
Survivors include one brother Rick Freeman and wife, Meg, both of Natchez; one sister, Angie Brown of Natchez; one niece, Hannah Gordon of Natchez; two nephews, Alan Brumbelow of Hattiesburg and Lane Gordon of Natchez; a number of other relatives; and special friends, Dixie Lewis and the Ladies II Sunday School Class of Washington Baptist Church.
Pallbearers will be Doug Dooley, Larry Freeman, Cornie Hudson, Randy Freeman, Glynn Long and EJ Forman.
Honorary pallbearers will be Ivy Ray Thornton, Estes Porter, Vick Dallalio, JC Winters, Ken Davis and Ken Barfoot.
The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff of Glenburney Nursing Home for the loving care given to our loved one.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask donations be sent to Washington Baptist Church or a charity of choice.
