FERRIDAY – Services for Donald Ray Lincecum, 63, of Biloxi, who died Wednesday, April 15, 2009, will be at 3 p.m. today at First Baptist Church of Ferriday.
Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Natchez under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time today at First Baptist Church in Ferriday.
Mr. Lincecum was born and raised in Ferriday, the son of Oscar Lincecum and Bessie Lincecum. He had been a resident of the Coast for the past 18 years. He attended Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, La., where he received a master’s degree in business administration.
Don was employed with First Federal Savings and Loan in Natchitoches. For the past 13 years he enjoyed being a Biloxi City cab driver. Don was a people person. He loved telling stories and making people laugh. He spent his last days doing what he loved, working in his garden.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Rachel Lincecum; his mother; two daughters, Jennifer Lechner and husband, Jonathan, and Amy Comstock and husband, Bryan; one brother, Charles “Bebo” Lincecum and wife, Jana; one nephew, Aaron Lincecum; and three grandsons, Nathan and Logan Lechner and Gavin Comstock.
Pallbearers will be many relatives and friends.
