BROOKHAVEN — Services for Edna Noble Lovitt, 86, of Brookhaven, who died Wednesday, April 15, 2009, at her residence, will be at 3 p.m. today at Harrigill Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial will follow at Riverwood Memorial Park under the direction of Harrigill Funeral Home in Brookhaven.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time today at the funeral home.
Mrs. Lovitt was born Feb. 5, 1923, the daughter of James F. Noble and Queenie Wroten. She was employed as a Realtor and was owner of a personnel placement service.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Swep Hugh Lovitt Jr.; one son, Michael Lovitt; and one sister, Sylvia Noble Bentz.
Survivors include one son, Swep Hugh Lovitt III of Brookhaven; one daughter, Lisa Lovitt Thompson and husband, Sid, of Madison; one brother, James F. Noble Jr. and wife, Pat; and five grandchildren.
